Our Chef chocolate-maker created a chocolate for many diabetics

The Maison Duplanteur offers a « sugar-free » and artisanal chocolate as we use maltitol which is a sugar substitute weak in glycaemia. It is made from cereal extracts but does not contain gluten. Therefore, our Chef chocolate-maker was able to create a line of chocolates for many diabetics which is not too bitter and tastes very good.

This sugar from cereal is a polyol and maltitol has a sweet taste and has a limited effect on insulin levels.

If you wish to order this type of chocolate for yourself or to offer this type of chocolate it will be suitable also for people with Type-2 Diabetes although medical advice should be sought first.
